Weaving Workshop for Beginners (SOLD OUT)
Saturday February 22nd, 11:30 am to 3 pm in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Are you intrigued by but new to the craft of tapestry weaving or are you looking to get back to the loom since your 4th grade art class hiatus? Come hang out in Brooklyn, make new friends and get your weave on!
The cost of the workshop includes a beautiful loom you can keep as well as a weaving needle and the yarn you’ll need to complete your first weaving, which you will be able to walk away with at the end of the day!
This weaving workshop is designed to teach you the basics of weaving. We’ll cover the set up of your loom, multiple weaving techniques, and then go over how to get that weaving off of the loom and hung up for all your favorite people to see! You’ll walk away with your own first weaving and the tools and skills to continue making weavings on your own loom from home.
Good art requires proper fuel so tasty food and drink will be provided! The class will be in Brooklyn, New York and after you purchase the class I’ll send you the address and more day-of instructions. We’re going to have so much fun!
The workshop is being held in a building without an elevator and the ability to climb a few flights of stairs is required to be able to attend. Apologies for this inconvenience!
